The Spirit of Bourbon

My sobriety is my life success story. For years into sobriety, holding a glass with a soda in it was the only option at a beer or restaurant. Non-alcoholic spirits and the demand for them have really grown over the past 5 years or so. Free Spirits 'The Spirit of Bourbon' is by far my favorite. Wonderfully bodied and aromatic. It's good enough to drink by itself, but I mostly like to experiment with new drink recipes. A Manhattan, mule or old fashioned are mainstays. Free Spirits has updated the recipe a couple of times, and even though I think it can get any better, somehow it does. I have a subscription for The Spirit of Bourbon, because I never want to run out. I've tried many other n/a spirits, and this is the best!

A very nice NA Bourbon

I'm probably a tough sell, because I drink bourbon either neat, or on the rocks, but not buried in a cocktail. Free Spirits Bourbon is the only one I have found so far that does it for me. Thanks, Free Spirits !

Getting better

I have yet to discover a non-alcoholic spirit that even remotely emulates the real thing, but this is probably the closest it’s gotten so far. But the common problem is how ridiculously expensive these are and this one is no different. So prepare to pay a lot and only get narginally closer to the real thing.
