Saphir Medaille d'Or Sole Guard - Leather Sole Waterproofer

Wise to use product, but...

After wearing my three pairs of brand new leather-sole shoes for a few weeks each pair, I started to apply Saphir Medaille d'Or Sole Guard as instructed. The oil truly is thin and goes in quickly. After 'several' applications, the sole was still readily absorbing the oil. Although I do not wear my shoes in wet conditions, I can tell that this Saphir Sole Guard from the Medaille d'Or line is yet another winner. Saphir claims that their oil makes the leather-sole much more flexible, and it is highly possible that it does. In addition, their product helps the leather-sole to resist abrasion which in turns makes the leather-sole to last longer. Unfortunately, I found only one Seller selling this Saphir Medaille d'Or Sole Guard. As a result, I paid a ridiculously high price for it.
