Unexpected surprise

When set in a white background, you get white opal with mostly pink shimmers of color in it. Put it on a black background it it's a whole different story. I was expecting a black ring with white accents. Instead, what I got was more like the black fire opal. It just exploded with color when put on a black background. I'm not complaining, it's beautiful, I did however get some glacier to see if I get the white I was expecting. There are times when I'm going to want white, with just a hint of color.
