The plastic clip sort of defeats the purpose of the company’s Earth advocacy, and it would be great to incorporate a stainless steel or titanium clip, but nonetheless, a solid clip that attaches easily to external sources.

Plastic is better
Everyone needs plastic clips. They don't scratch and alleviates the clinking around. I don't expect them to be as strong as metal clips but that is ok.
