AAE Elite Plastifletch EP-4.0 Vanes

Easy to fletch and a great option for hunting

I found the AAE elite plastifletch vanes easy to work with. They are strong and perfect for off the shelf shooting in the NZ bush. Compared to other vanes I have tried these are a little thicker and stronger and when combined with a high quality fletching glue they adhere nicely to carbon arrows due to the curved profile of the base of the vanes. These vanes work well for me in place of feathers as they don’t need to be smoothed after each shot, water does not impact them and they clean up easily when muddy. I’m also a fan of the bright colouring options which stand out well in dense bush. I’ll be using these again for sure.
