VW CanBus Gateway Upgrade for MIB2

Great service and advice. GTI is running great with the new programmed module.

This did the trick. I thought since I had a 2014 Sportwagen I wouldn't need to upgrade my Canbus module but I was wrong. It only took about 30 minutes to swap out, including coding.

The unit, once re-programmed, seems to work as advertised. I can use my new-to-me MIB2 head unit without problems It was a bit more difficult to install than the instructions implied because I could not obtain access to the module without removing the heater duct, which required some specialized tools to remove the retaining screws. After that it was pretty straight forward.
