STRAIGHT DOUBLE CROSS SOLITAIRE SPUR STRAP

Nicely made spur straps, and I like the design. The color is much lighter, medium brown, not dark brown or black as the picture appears, which looks nice also. However, the buckle is different without a keeper, not as advertised, and kind of cheap looking. I probably would have made a different choice for the money had I known this beforehand. For $125 straps, a nicer buckle is mandatory. I spoke with the maker directly, and he said he was disappointed his supplier changed the buckles also…but he did not offer resolution. Makes me wonder if he actually made them if he still used these buckles and wasn’t satisfied with them. Im kind of disappointed with this purchase, and lack of attention to detail for what I thought was a higher end product.
