Needed these harps
I recently started sitting in with a dixieland jazz group that plays most of its repertoire in Bb Ab and Eb. I didn't have access to my regular gig gear since I travel with the basic C, D, F, G and A harps. I buy my harps from Ron because his service is excellent.

Needs much improvement
I use EastTop for backup and practice only. Thought I would check out their valving. Firstly, 3 valves came off on first use! I replaced them and the others seemed stable. Secondly, 90% of the reeds were pretty flat in pitch. Interestingly they were all ground by the rivet which lowers pitch. Someone went too far or never really checked the pitches? After correcting the pitches, the harp is now usable. Will never purchase this model again. The 008K's were never this bad. Overall, the harp is pretty air tight. Don't recommend the valved model (008LS). For recording and stage playing, I use Suzuki Valved ProMaster. I've been playing harp for 60 years and for me, the Suzuki is the best harp.
