Solid harp. Stiff out of the box.
I have a few of these Sessions Standards, and they are solid workhorses. That said, they need more force to get going than I prefer. For me they are not perfect, but will work and last. I prefer the Lee Oscar a little bit over this. I prefer the Soloist Pro from Seydel over this as well - I feel it is a more responsive harp.

Session Standard in low F
Although it is fun to dream and wail with an F harp there is a deeper satisfaction of having the low F growl through the tunes. I have models of harps from most of the major brands and keep gravitating to the Session shape. I haven’t had any reed rattling with this one the way some low keys tend to either.
Rockin Ron’s service was Top notch as usual. I ordered on Veteran’s weekend and received it within days.
Happy harpin!

LOW D WHEN I NEEDED IT
I was recently working on a piece that needs a Low D diatonic harmonica. A Low D is not available in many brands, but I previously bought a Low C Seydel harp from Rockin' Ron, so I purchased this companion Seydel in Low D. As always, it came right away and did the job just fine. I didn't put it to a full stress test because it will have limited use, but it works just fine.
