I have been cake decorating for about 43 years when the only choice was fruit cake and fondant. Times change and I am branching out with madeira cakes and buttercream icing. I do have a lot of the traditional tins but I am now requiring tins that are smaller in diameter and higher sides. I found Cake Decorating Central online and was impressed with their range and price not just for cake tins but cake equipment in general. I also like that they give you a choice in shipping. 6" cake tin

I had to purchase another 6" as I lent to someone and I can't remember who. This tin with the higher side is great quality and probably far better than the other one. Very pleased with my purchase.
