Delish!

Son asked for ‘boysenberry birthday cake’ which I wasn’t sure I could do as boysenberries themselves aren’t easy to come across… ended up using this to flavour a mixed-berry puree, which I then marbled through a vanilla bean cake. Was delish! An instant fave. Used flavouring for buttercream icing too and it really complimented the classic vanilla — similar to flavour combo in boysenberry icecream, which was exactly what he was aiming for!
