Great hat, damaged band

I love this hat, especially the rainbow colors in the straw! The felt/faux leather ribbon that ran around the brim and served as chin strap was cracked in many places and had to be replaced. I used 3mm flat leather cord to replace it and now it's perfect for a summer day at the beach or in the garden. While the damage to the original cord necessitated its replacement, it was easy to do and not a big enough reason to return the hat. I do think it was something that should have been noticed during packing and addressed before shipping, but given the deal I got in the hat, I was not concerned about the couple dollars in materials it took to fix the problem. This is the second straw hat I've bought from RMO and I will definitely be back when I need a new one.
