I bought these for a Les Paul Custom Murphy Lab '57 VOS after installing a set of Graph Tech saddles on a Telecaster "Micawber" clone, which had both brass saddles and bridge. The saddles improved the definition of the notes on the Tele, so I decided to try them on the Les Paul, which was a little muddy (to me), probably due to the all mahogany body. What a change! Not only an improvement in clarity but a little more room for setting the intonation (the original APR-1 G string saddle was maxed out in length). If you're looking to add definition and help the intonation, Graph Tech saddles are the way to go.
