Several of us waterfowl hunting buddies do our late season duck hunting on the Missouri River System. It’s cold, windy, and wet and we use 18’ Lund boats to haul us, our dogs, blinds and decoys across open water into back bays and creeks to decoy ducks coming off of harvested corn fields. Space in these boats is at a premium with all the gear we haul and we needed to rethink what decoy setups we were using to increase our efficiency in hauling and deploying our shoreline decoy spreads along with our floating decoys. For the past two seasons we have used Tanglefree Skinny Duck Decoys (60 pack) for our shoreline decoys in place of our usual full bodied shore decoys, thus adding significant space in the boats, and cutting our decoys placement and retrieving time by at least half! To help with the “movement” of the shore/beach dekes, we added some windsock dekes in among the silos - the Drake Mallard Slammer Socks are a big part of the whole shore spread and compliment the spinning wings located out front! We have now used this setup for the past 2 seasons with great results and a whole lot less work in getting set up while blowing on our hands..!!!

I haven't used them yet, but a friend of mine uses them all the time. If they're anything like the Canadian geese ones they'll work amazingly.
