I buy seed in bulk - like 4 25 pound bags of black oil sunflower seed at a time. I use a LOT of seed, so it doesn’t last long. I have metal trash cans with tight fitting lids and the bags are stored in them in my garage. But then when I need a bag, I drag it to the back yard, I have a metal storage bin, inside are 4 metal (garbage pail) cans with tight fitting lids, I pour the seed into them, but I want to keep it fresh so I got this product.
