Fitting out my new Djembe

Many thanks to all the crew at Threeworlds at Burleigh. I have just finished building a new Djembe and during the final construction stages, the crew at Threeworlds provided me with both quality materials, and many helpful ideas to end up with a cracker drum. Two mentions: 1/ Be aware, and I was informed, fitting a blank "fibreskin" by hand is not for the faint hearted. Enough said. 2/ The crew recommended 4mm for loops and 5mm for verticals. Good call. The 5mm rope was heavily tensioned on the initial fitting. I left the drum tensioned up for two weeks before letting the tension off and re tensioning the verticals. As expected some stretch in 18 Mt's of new rope. Now tuned up, and settled in. Awesome. Thanks again to Threeworlds for all your help. Jeff.
