Great Tandoor Oven, careful of the shipping!

When my Greek Tandoor arrived, I was in shock. The original shipping container was broken in half and the tandoor was laying on its side on another pallet. Fortunately, the tandoor was in tact minus some minor scratches and dings - none of which are currently affecting the performance of the tandoor. I took pictures of the original packing and will share them with whomever requests them. As for the Greek Tandoor Oven, it is excellent. Be sure to follow the initial startup rules for firing it up. Mine developed very few hairline cracks as I took my time heating the oven up and followed the video to the letter. First meal was a whole chicken on the hook - perfect and juicy. Second meal was Tikka Masala utilizing Tandoor Chicken on the skewers - also excellent. This weekend will be marinated beef Tri Tip and marinated lamb on skewers. Also made Naan bread that turned out very well in the tandoor oven - slapped them on the interior of the oven for about 1 minute! All in all a great product.

Outdoor get-togethers, especially now in the summer, are so nice! Having a nice meal cooked in the tandoor in a summer evening is now a must in our family. I don't know what I'd be doing without this oven, it's amazing. Everyone in my family loves it.

Our whole family are huge fans of outdoor cooking. We’ve bought a grill and a mangal for our backyard. And now decided to add a tandoor to our collection. We have been using it the most lately, if I have to be completely honest, a tandoor is really nice for having weekend family gatherings, everyone is always thrilled to try whatever we made in it. 100% recommended
