Nice but ...

I purchased this item because research suggested that it would appear as a serial device & so allow data to be read via Linux based systems. However it seems that the design has been fundamentally changed and it now exposes a 'flash drive'. This is only readable by the Elitech software - new version only - that is windows only! (OK there is a mac version, but the web pas in ?chinese?). This is a disappointment as it means I need a MS machine to read the data. How about either an opensource API or make the disc format universal. I see that 'doze can't see the content but the software can. So if you are a 'doze user then great but other wise ...

Elitech's website could run a bit quicker but that could be down to our internet at work too. Basically, I ordered the wrong product and a lady called Joyce helped me out within 10-15 mins, she was phenomenal in correcting my mistake and refunding us the difference.
