Light weight and stable legs on slopes. Held up an AD600 with reflector outside in a hilly park just fine. I like that the base is adjustable for how wide to set it. Fits easily in my stand bag with the 13' and 16' stands.

Extended Legs Make this Stand Stableq

Only used it once, but mostly metal, very sturdy, and, with legs extended, very stable. Shouldn't have to use sand bags.

Generally I like the stand however it shipped with no rubber feet - just bare aluminum at the bottom so it slides around on hard surfaces, and will obviously scratch up easily. Every tripod or stand I’ve ever used came with rubber feet or wheels so now i have to find some aftermarket rubber feet that will fit.
