Nice overall, however a few hairline blemishes make the top do a funny dance, untilnit settles in one spot.

A great surprise

I bought a stainless steel top and a glass lens as a gift. When I presented it to my son, he looked perplexed and spun the top on the glass, then reached for his card. He finished reading it, more than once - and the top was still spinning! At that the table was full of oohs and ahhs! So much appreciation for the prompt shipping that got a relatively last minute purchase to us on time, and the personal note was a nice touch (though understandably it was written to me as purchaser rather then the gift recipient). A wonderful gift that I think made a real impression!
