It's way too long. The XL is almost 9 inches in total length from the large. I bought the large and there is only 3 inches of belt left after going through my 40inch waist. So i got the XL and the thing wraps around my waist to the backside of my hip. I had to cut it and sew on my own velcro to get it to a decent size.
