The beef was lovely when cooked but was disappointed as it weighed only 880g rather than the 1kg as labelled.

Slow cooked beautifully.
I’m not good at roasting beef, so always slow-cooker in wine and season and then roast briefly to provide a roast appearance. Did the job beautifully and was even enough left to go in a shepherds pie the day after.
