Fractus is Great!

This fiber was an interestong spin. Never have I ever spun any fiber blend that contained Flax. It is so strange, but SO MUCH FUN! Of course the trick is damp fingers on both hands - one for smoothing, one for helping the fiber to slde along. I did do a wash after spinning knowing that it would improve this very "dried grass" like fiber and it really works. The yarn is glorious. I love this fiber and am very glad I have more to spin. I got 600 + yards of 2 ply out of 3 ounces. Great fun. Every spinner should try it.
