Medium Cafe Bag

Love this bag - BIHN has great colors!

The mini backpack I had used for close to 20 years gave out and the company no longer carries. I did searching flro months, and for the amount of time and money I spent searching, buying backpacks I was happy to find this very practical bag. I purchased the Aubergine Medium Cafe Bag. I love it. I work at a university (I am a petite, fairly active 66 YO senior citizen), and I am no longer comfortable putting on and taking off a back pack. It was getting uncomfortable and I tend to over pack a back pack. I quit carrying a purse for a number of years now. This cafe bag carries all my essentials, wallet, phone, and small makeup/jewelry/phone charger bag. In the three internal pockets, I carry my vitamins and medication. In the external pocket a journal and bills. I also ordered a matching ghost whale organizer to attach to the cafe bag my ear pods. I also purchased a mystery organizer bag for easy to reach items like eyedrops and lipstick. I love the internal three key rings . Perfect daily carry

This bag is working for me. I work from home and have an office upstairs. My wallet and cell phone need to move with me. I am up and down the stairs 6-8 times a day and my wallet or cell phone is always where I am not. This bag is a perfect size for the wallet, cellphone, Ipad, and anything else. That's usually a hard bound book. When at my desk the Cafe Bag hangs on a hook through the top loop. I epically appreciate the back "unzippered pocket. As I seal an envelope for outgoing mail, I just drop the envelope in the back pocket. My only addition is a 3/8" thick stiffener board in the main pocket. The stiffener actually serves as a welcome divider. This bag is effective, simple and only one zipper pocket. I have tried many bags through the years, some to small, some too big, most too complicated.

Perfect for cruise excursions

Just finished a Viking River Cruise thru Paris, Normandy and Belgium. The bag was awesome. Room for umbrella,trekking poles , wind breaker and docks. The d rings were great. Attached 2 small bags with first aid supplies and one with condiments. Best of all , it rode comfortably on my hip. I’m 78 and wish I discovered this 20 years ago. Given the quality of the bag, it would still look brand new.
