NEVADO [200grs]

I’m still prototyping my design, so I can tell you about it but do not have pix yet. I’m knitting a traditional Log Cabin Quilt, complete with either a Tinto or Rojo (square) center, representing the hearth. I understand a traditional quilt is stitched with woven fabric, needle, and thread, but I really mean it when I describe my technique as a knitted Log Cabin. I like to sew, but I LOVE to knit! I began collecting colors of Nevado at my Chula Vista yarn shop before it ever touched my (knitting) needles. About a month ago, I looked for an on-line source of Nevado, found you folks, and now that I have enough colors for many “logs” (I note that in a quilting book logs are called “strings”), I began casting on stitches and knitting swatches. I am in heaven, prototyping my garter stitch “quilt top.” I’ll try to hold onto you e-address and send you a photo when it’s finished. Thank you for your incredibly fast DELIVERY! Me encanta Nevado!! El color es Azul Cobalto. Se trabaja rápido y es bueno para crear ropa de otoño o primavera. Es de textura suave. Utilicé gancho de 3.50mm.
