I have wanted one of these for ages after reading the great reviews, and finally purchased one. What a brilliant tool for stress-free mane tidying. I have two cob crosses that haven't had their manes touched all winter. The coarse levelling knife made short work of their thick manes, and they look tidily pulled, not cut. One of the horses is averse to having his mane pulled, but once he realised I wasn't going to pull it, he relaxed and went to sleep. Both manes were done in less than half an hour total.
