Pasela ProTite Wire Urban/Commuter Tire

So round, so firm, so fully packed

the profile is awesome. nice and round so that there are no profile changes as you lean and corner. Very stable and I think reasonable Balance between rolling resistance and comfort. I like the puncture resistance and think I've benefited from it. For a while running some unknown tire on the rear, a cheap black wall tire. in a year 3 flats on it and not flats on the front Pasela. Now with Pasela front and rear, and about 500 miles on the new tire and possibly nearing 2k on the front, I (knock wood)have been lucky with no puncture flats. I love the look of the gum sidewalls and the profile. they look nice and plump and round. My tires are 700x35m Pasela ProTite with gum (tan) sidewalls. I have the mounted on my 1998 Trek 520. This vintage Trek 520 does not have space on the front fork to allow for a larger tire than the 35. it is less than 1/8 inch between the tire and the stering tube that the fork legs are welded to. I'd go for 38s if I had room. NN out
