Good Mix

This mix has done well for me the past 2 years. I added in another sorghum and some sunflowers. Very nice diversity and different maturity dates. I plant early last week of April in the Panhandle of TX, and it's always mature by dove season. I no till drilled it with my G3, so I cut the seeding rate down to 8#, stopped up every other row, leaving 15" spacing. Still very thick, I may cut down to 4-5# next year. Its been six weeks since it came up, it's waist high, and 2 varieties of millet are headed out.

Seed arrived in time and boxed and bagged correctly. I planted and very clean looking seed. We are very dry this year, so I do have concerns of germination, but we will just have to see. If it does not grow, I could not blame the seed as it looks good, but we are lacking moisture.
