Simple, Solid Throat Protection That Stays Put

I added this screw-mounted lacrosse goalie throat protector to my helmet and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Installation was easy and it mounted securely using the existing helmet screws, so it doesn’t swing around like some of the string-mounted ones do. It feels very sturdy and gives good coverage without being too heavy or distracting when moving your head. Once it’s on, you honestly don’t really notice it, which is exactly what you want as a goalie. The hardware seems solid and hasn’t loosened up after multiple practices and games. Overall, this is a simple but important piece of goalie equipment that does its job well. I would definitely recommend it for any youth or high school goalie looking for solid throat protection that stays in place.

Cascade throat guard can be mounted on all Cascade helmets and in my case a CS-R youth helmet for girls u-10 goalie. With 7/32 drill and Phillips head screwdriver the throat protector was easily attached to helmet. Light, flexible, and solid describes this Cascade product that affords goalies great protection.
