Both legs of the bracket have holes so you can us the long or short leg against the wall. A larger radius inside would be better to de-stress the material. It is simple in design. It is stiff and strong. The available white finish is good and worked well on my white woodwork. The supplied hardware, also white, has hex heads which is too industrial, I would prefer phillips pan head. But the 1/4 x 2" size was robust. Overall I like the brackets, they are unobtrusive but strong and support a glass shelf for plants at the window.

Brass is class, again

Your brackets are everything I could ask for. One comment tho. The holes are not counter sunk for the screws going into the shelves. Small thing but we’ve been finish carpenters for over 50 years and it is a detail that notches things up a bit. That being said, everything about our experience has been exceptional!

Kitchen nook shelving

We have installed kitchen nook shelving using the brackets and bolts from Cascade Iron. The bracket sets make the space beautiful and functional. We love them!
