Ready if I should ever need it.

I live in area that would be negatively affected if hit by a natural disaster (earthquake, wildfire, or eruptions). I am prepared to shelter in place for the locally recommended time if this should happen but I recently learned that most of my neighbors are not. Knowing that I would share my provisions I decided the best way I can support my neighborhood is to have the ability to provide drinkable water. I have owned LifeStraw products for camping and hiking for years. This community sized unit made sense to accomplish my goal. As they say it is better to have it if you need it than need it and not have it. It is part of my emergency kit.

Excellent, easy set-up. Filled many 7 gallon tanks daily. Looks like a space probe.

the order process was smooth, unit arrived quickly, well packaged, no damage. Assembly was simple, unit works well, water flow seems to be fast. Love the backflush handle, not sure why there are holes in the top of the red jug, but that does make a little mess during the backflush due to leaking water. I bought the kit to plumb into the water line so it is always full, that was a nice option. this was purchased as a gift to a missionary in Guatemala for a school he works with.
