Great Bump&Jump fin, 4WD
I had the Chance to try it now 26cm with my 100l 62cm wide Naish Starship on lake Garda with lots of wind and waves. Great is the ability to recover instantly after a spinout. Also jumping over wave didnt scare me of as the fin keeps track all the time. So I think especially for versatility and mushy Waters its a great allround fin.

Great Service!
JR and crew offer great customer service! I don't rate my skill highly enough to tell the difference between different brands/models of 24 cm freewave fins, but I do know that this fin kept my board moving where I wanted it to go :)

Makani 22 cm HB concept report
As a reference, I have a lot of sailing hours on the hb concept 20 cm, on a 66 liter board. You can throw anything at this fin: high g's jybes, high speed blasting, tons of pressure on the back foot, it just does not spin out. You can totally rely on it. I've mounted the new 22 cm HB on a Fanatic Newave 84 liter.Still goes well but not as good as the 20 cm. On the 22cm, I have to ease up on back foot pressure or it spins out. I've tried moving the fin back and forth one cm with no effect on reducing spin out. On Maui, I also have a 22 cm hb concept, a version with rounded teeth on the leading edge though. From what I remembered, I had less spin out. So final score: - HB concept 20 cm: 10/10 - HB concept 22 cm: 8/10
