Red Wine | HAIR COLOUR

I love it!

As dark as the physical dye would suggest when first applied, but after the first two or three washes it lightens up into a cool toned dark pink color that progressively gets lighter. Lasts decently long, takes about ten to twevle washes to start fading enough for my brassy bleached hair to start showing through (note that I wash my hair about once every ten days and pretty much always use anti-dandruff shampoo). It also takes pretty much takes the entire jar to do my whole head, my hair is somewhat but not very thick and sits about two or three inches past my shoulders.

Mixed feelings

The quality of this brand is not in dispute and I have had excellent coverage and success using other colours. This came out unexpectedly dark red on bleached hair, where I thought it would more resemble the label and photo swatches. I may have let it develop too long, but I will not be able to double check my results for months because it lasts a very long time!
