Update

These receivers tend to last a long time, so when it's time for a new one I usually need to update. The only way I could get it to was to update my transmitter with the online agent. I was on the newest "Public" firmware but had to go to newer "Beta" for it to connect. Once you do this you'll need to rebind every other receiver that was connected to the updated transmitter by powering up then pressing the bind button. Hope you can access your bind buttons! From there they'll update and need to reboot, then trigger bind again from the transmitter. Make sure your settings are correct too for region, power, frequency etc. Easy.
