A negative change

I have been using Gillys Cabinet makers wax for 37 years and even the last 26 years when I moved back to France. However, I wasn’t able to get a big pot this time, only small ones. That doesn’t really matter but the composition is different! You now put hydro carbon in it! That’s very disappointing and I won’t buy any more Cabinet makers wax! How sad!

Cabinet wax is perfect for some small boxes that I make i find it easy to apply and buff off I also find the smell pleasant.

My go-to wax for dark wood

This was recommended by a colleague and I have been delighted with it. I can build a lovely finish and it creates not only a lovely sheen, but also a depth of character to my walnut. If more shine is needed, the carnauba wax seals the deal!
