I just started learning to build my own cork grips by 1 piece at a time. Been building and refurbishing rods for 4-5 years now, I saw these on Mud Holes site, fell in love with the concept of building custom cork grips. I would have failed miserably if not for the outstanding help and knowledge from Sean Cheaney in customer service, he gave me guidelines and what to do how to do it. I’m happy to say that my first build went great because of his insight and patience to help a newly. Thanks again Sean

Custom cork handle

Challenging to arrange and the remake ‘in our eyes’ for a custom fit to my hand. The cork is slow to adjust using a commercial lathe. Why? This material is dense and slow to sand as needed. This feature prevents over contouring.
