My sister in law said that the delivery box was quite large but well packed, even including a cooler pack. Most of the dark chocolate sponge candy was delicious but she said there were a few pieces that were “gummy” in texture.

I needed to ship sponge candy to Port St. Lucie Florida in the middle of July. Needed to? Yes. It was the one request for a very special person for a very special day and two separate days the wonderful young women at Watson’s tried to talk me into a gift certificate instead. Understanding the importance of the occasion the first woman asked me to call back that Thursday before shipping out on the next Monday to check the weather and place the order. When I called to place the order, I spoke to someone else who told me she would pack it personally the order shipped overnight the following Monday and was received this condition! Mission accomplished I called a few days later to say thank you, and the young woman seemed surprised to hear back from me with a compliment. I asked her to pass along my thanks this is the kind of service that makes Buffalo special and what keeps places like Watson’s thriving. I can’t thank you enough!

Great product but very high shipping price makes it almost intolerable. My wife is a lifelong resident of western New York and to receive Western NewYork items is great but expensive to ship to keep enjoying.
