Finally no pain

I am ecstatic I came across your website! For years, I would occasionally open my eyes in the middle of the night and be left in excruciating pain from tearing my cornea (per my eye doctor). He suggested I wear an eye mask but every one I tried seemed too big. I found these and one of the reviews said they were small so I ordered myself a pair. They are excellent and pretty comfortable. I love the thick strap made of fabric!! I would have given 5 stars if I were able to make these just a little smaller. I highly recommend these for anyone that suffers from dry eye!!!

Rain Drops Keep Falling . . . ! Even though I wear these pretty loosely to avoid heavy impressions in my skin, and even though my tear film is minimal, I wake up with moisture collecting on the inside of the cups. I think the fact that they are so close to my eyes helps a lot. They do not touch my eyelashes. I tried EyeSeals 4.0, which are nice, but they are too big for my face. These are much better for me. They don't quite fit inside my orbital bones, so I move them around on my face while I'm awake trying to get the best feel, and if they end up riding a little low they smoosh the skin below the lower edge, causing a pretty deep wrinkle that takes a couple hours to go away. But for my smallish face with high cheek bones these are the best-feeling option I have found. I sleep mostly on my back, but even when I turn onto my side these shields shift a bit and still keep a pretty good seal. I cannot tolerate foam, so some other goggles don't work. Tape feels pokey and pinchy. Cling film is a close second, but it makes my cheeks feel itchy. (I feel like The Princess and the Pea.) For this picky, sensitive-skinned lady, Onyix is the winner! I almost ordered clear because I already keep my room very dark and didn't think I wanted any chance of feeling disoriented, but - wow - I'm also liking the light-blocking feature of the black goggles. I hope they hold up longer than some people say they do. I am treating them gently and will try to remember to update with any longevity feedback.
