Nice derby

Liked the derby a lot, however I had to return to exchange for a different size. Been 11 days since they received the shoes back, but I'm yet to hear from them? :-( Hopefully, they be on it soon.

My First (not my last!)

This is a short-term review, but not a short use review. I love these shoes. They are eye-catching, comfortable, and sure to last a long, long time. I worked with Mr. David Creamer at Rancourt for a few weeks to decide on a shoe and size. This kind of human support and local customer service is as rare and wonderful as Rancourt and their products. Once I decided on the Camden Derby, I placed my order and the waiting began. As waits go, this one was long and trying at times, but oh so worth it. Out of the box I could feel the quality and see the craftsmanship of these shoes. The are still the 'break-in' period in my estimation, a touch stiffer than you might be used to with other brands, but my no means uncomfortable. In fact, I've worn these every day to my office job, with jeans on the weekend, and walked trodden dirt tails for a mile or so in the woods not far from home. I haven't had an occasion short of black tie where these shoes won't work. The buying experience is first-class and the shoe, once of the foot, speaks for itself. Amazing. I'm looking forward to my next Rancourt purchase, and feel strongly that other folks should be looking to support our American businesses like Rancourt. Thank you, Rancourt & Co.

Excellent derby shoe

The Camden derby in natural CXL was my first Rancourt purchase. I had an excellent experience with CS dialing in my size (same as measured size, 9.5 D) and the shoes arrived promptly. They are extremely comfortable, look great and are well made. These are also my first pair of Blake rapid stiched shoes and they do feel a bit lighter than a Goodyear welted shoe, but not insubstantial. I especially like the Vibram mini lug sole as it's low profile but gives EXCELLENT traction and doesn't squeak on polished concrete floors like Dainite can. Keep up the excellent work Rancourt.
