Hot Cincinnati Spice Black Tea

Such a wonderful comforting tea. The spices are exactly right. I have been buying Cincinnati spice black tea for many years. Every Saturday it was a trip down to Finley market and stop at Churchills Tea’s. Since moving to LA 13 years ago, I now just order online and it comes in the mail. Perfect!

Very unique flavor. I haven't found another tea that compares.

Fun to try

The “hot” spice can be added to various tea bases. I LOVE their Second Earl Grey black tea, so I chose the “Hot Cincinnati Spice black tea”. It is VERY cinnamon forward. Basically tastes like someone dissolved that “Red Hot” cinnamon candy in the cup. VERY strong candy flavor. Glad I got the 1 oz sample. Using an herbal or green base would probably work better. Fun to try, but not something I will revisit. The new location is charming, BTW.
