Scale works great. I would NOT buy the SS again - Too hard to keep smudges and dirt from showing.

I had a similar Taylor scale for over 8 years. For some reason the batteries corroded even though they had not been in for an extremely long time. Otherwise I was really happy with it. I also like the replacement recently purchased. However, I would point out that the battery compartment door does not seem as tight as it should be. That is why I have not given it a full rating.
