I’m a newbie I’ve got some of the Eva I shaped grips and I’m trying it out it is lot different doing it then I thought but I thank it’s pretty cool

Best custom grip start

This grip (any color) is my go-to grip start. I first contour the grip on a mandrel (tubing) in a drill press. Once it has the desired form, I ream it to the rod blank fit. I have used it for minimal split grips all the way up to full tuna rod grips.
