A customer came by with his offshore rod, which had a gimbal on it that he didn’t like because it dug into his lower abdomen when fighting a fish, so I ordered this Butt Cap and slipped it on the Gimbal, fit was nice, he was happy, no, he can use is his Rod with or without the Butt Cap.
