Lessons in Magic: A Guide to Making Your Dreams Come True by Philip Carr-Gomm

I am part of OBOD, and I know Philip Carr-Gomm; his meditations and food for thought are always very interesting and profound. I bought this book because I hadn't had the opportunity to read it yet, and it didn't disappoint! The approach is very concrete: magic is rooted in everyday life, and this is the prerequisite for it to be realised; commitment, determination and perseverance are needed, not magic formulas or shortcuts. The process of identifying our deep desire is a journey through ourselves, in which we get to know ourselves and experience what we are often unaware of. The various steps to realise it, once identified, become steps to descend into the depths of our being, a place where we can look at and get to know each other authentically. I recommend it to anyone because the readings are really diverse, and everyone can learn valuable lessons from them!
