Surf Rod Build w/Virtus Heavy Guides

I have used American Tackle Type guides on several Inshore/Bass rods with great results. I decided to go with the Virtus Heavy Guides for this surf rod build. The feet were easy to shape to aid in wrapping the guide to the rod. The finished rod looked sleek with these guides, and the performance has been amazing.

These would be great if the front of the guide was one solid piece and not split into two
