High Quality Construction, Disappointed in the Light

The mailbox arrived in good shape, roughly on time. The post and box itself are high quality, well construction. They fully met our expectations and are very attractive. My only moderate issue is with the pre-installed light that's supposed to illuminate the cut-out numbers. Namely, the LEDs that came pre-installed are each a single point of light and they struggle to fully illuminate our address (which has four numbers). I can turn the light in various ways to change how brightly it lights the different numbers, but under no orientation does it light all four up equally/brightly. Also, the lights on both sides came pre-installed, but one of the two lights was still loose and I have been unable to get it properly secured because the hole it inserts in is too small. So it's just kind of sitting there, doing it's job (mostly - see previous point). In the end, definitely disappointed in the lighting since the illuminated address numbers were one of the big selling points to us. But the rest of the product is high quality and well done.

Solid, great style, with minor nits

The mailbox is well made, sturdy and, and thoughtfully engineered. It was a substantial upgrade over our previous mailbox. What could be improved: - the black easily attracts fingerprints and scratches (and I have been super careful in installation!) - the LED light instructions don't mention it, but you have to use correct polarity and this took me far to long to figure out - the door could use a little rubber bumper to avoid slamming against the metal stop tab - we'll see, but I am concerned the way the mail flag is designed will one day result in someone snagging on it and breaking it off.
