R Laser Film works great for my screen printing needs!

I purchased this because I was having trouble finding the Kimoto Kimodesk laser film I normally use. I purchased one box to test it out and it appears to be the same stuff. Exposed and developed the screen exactly as I’m used to. I’ve tried several different types of vellum with varying degrees of success/failure, so I was ready to be disappointed. I only have a laser printer in my print shop and I teach hundreds of students to screen print each year, so using the ink jet-to-film method is too slow and costly so I go with vellum. I haven’t noticed any shrinkage running it through the printer and multi-color prints register perfectly. Designs are solid black with good coating. Haven’t noticed any areas that I would have to touch up with a marker or anything. Very happy with the tests I’ve run so far and plan to order more of the 11x17 now that I know it’s the right stuff.

Just what we needed

This film worked perfectly for our need of creating a new screen for printing. All of the other transparencies we tried were too thin and slippery to go through our laser printer. We had success with this one.
