Everything we hoped for

We’ve had the plates for two weeks and love them. They’re so light weight and have been durable. The simple look and feel is incredible. I heard it can be rough on the bottom but things were smooth on our plates and bowls. I was also hesitant on the purchase because I heard that color and sound of fork on plate can change over time, so I’ll have to come back if that’s the case, but so far this has been everything and more for what I wanted for our dinner set. We purchased 2 sets of 4. Getting it through Mikasa is great too because of their guarantee with damage to replace with equal or great value.

I bought 2 dinner sets for my sons new apartment. One plate was cracked but it was quickly replaced. I will purchase from Mikasa again.

I chose the Samantha dinnerware set to replace our old Mikasa Arabella dinnerware. The Samantha dinnerware is simple but elegant. I love the slightly raised edges of the plates. Shipping was fast and the set arrived in perfect condition. I just ordered another 16 piece set and 8 pasta bowls.
