I bought them to replace the ones I had purchased years ago which were discolored. I was disappointed that the new ones are all much bigger. The old ones held 8 oz of coffee when nearly full. The new ones hold 12 oz when nearly full. But when it comes to coffee, 6 oz is ideal. More than that and you are drinking lukewarm or cold coffee. My superautomatic coffee machine produces a maximum of 6 oz. It's perfect. I don't know what you intend these new mugs to be used for, maybe beer, but it's not coffee.

We have the entire set, but these mugs were missing. They are a great addition, and the size was much larger than expected.
