Black Palm Wood Turning Blank – Kiln Dried Exotic Hardwood for Spindle, Pool Cue, Handles & Mallets

Black palm is uniquely unpleasant to turn, but wow, the results are striking! The quality of the blank was great, but the wood itself fights both traditional and carbide tools. It splinters and flakes, and the little black splinters get everywhere. The piece stays splintery even when sanded diligently, so avoid making handles from this species.

The edges are all torn up. Probably shouldn’t have been shipped.
